Record Update

Hey everyone! As of today, my record is being printed and should be in my hands in just a few days! I’m very excited to share it with everyone. This process has been very special for me. This isn’t a side project, a money making scheme or anything that I’ve done flippantly. This is a product of years of writing, growing, hurting, learning and life; an overflow of God's grace toward me. I hope that you’ll want to hear my record and that in doing so, you’ll hear my heart. More info to come soon.

Blessings!

Almost there!!!

This recording is going better and faster than I could have imagined! For the past few weeks we've worked on everything from vocals, guitars and strings, you name it. To make things even more special, I've had some old friends, as well as some new, stop by the studio and contribute to the project. I'm having the time of my life! I'm so overwhelmed with the encouragement and support I've gotten and can't wait to share the final product. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the video!

Studio - Week 2

Hey everyone! I'm about to start the third week of recording for my new album. This past week we spent a lot of time working on guitars and a bunch of other fun stuff. It's really going well and I couldn't be more pleased. Here are few more clips of what's been going on... Blessings!

Day 1

Day 1

For many musicians, recording in a good studio is equally as exhilirating as playing in front of a large crowd or playing with a band with good chemistry. At least, that's how I feel about it. There's just something about hearing your ideas played back and getting the opportunity to explore sounds and possiblities. Early this morning Jon Meyer and I met at Joel Cameron's studio to start tracking drums. The day started by throwing us an unexpected curveball. But, it's okay. I'm thankful. By God's grace the day went better than I could've imagined. Joel Cameron did a great job on the drums. Jon did a great job engineering and producing. I had a blast collaborating with these two. Man, I can't wait to let everyone hear this record!

Oh yeah, great job on the photos, Chris Harlow!

Concert Dinner and Fundraiser

Friday, July 15th, for an evening of music, stories, and food as we raise money for our first Providence Community recording project. One of the things that is unique about our church is that the majority of music that we sing in our services has been written by one of our own pastors. Pastor Drue Phillips is an extremely talented musician and songwriter who... more
